Newborn care and beyond.
Your baby is worth it, and so are you.
Our Services
Anything you need, we’re here to help.
Newborn Care Specialists
Sleep peacefully knowing your baby is well cared for throughout the night.
Your Newborn Care Specialist will take care of your newborn’s every need during a shift tailored to your schedule. She will help keep the nursery stocked and organized, tend to your baby’s needs, and perform household tasks related to the baby.
Overnight newborn care service can also be combined with daytime services.
Having a Newborn Care Specialist might look like this
- It’s 7 p.m. and your specialist arrives for the evening.
- Once your care provider is on duty, she will immediately get to work preparing for the rest of the evening.
- If you are bottle-feeding during the evening, the first order of the night will likely be making a bottle for the next feeding, then she will proceed with any other preparations that may need to be done.
- While she’s preparing for the next day, you and your partner may choose to share a meal out together to stay connected during these out-of-the-norm baby days.
- While you’re away, your specialist will continue working, stocking the nursery for the next day or washing bottle and pump parts, as needed.
- When you come back home, you may sneak in a few snuggles, then unwind with your partner, and fall asleep at a reasonable hour.
- While you sleep, your specialist may lightly rest as well, but her first priority is keeping an ear out for your baby. When needs arise, she will get up with your baby throughout the night, feeding him or her when hungry or bringing the baby to you to nurse.
- Your Newborn Care Specialist will handle all burping, changing, swaddling, and soothing required throughout the night.
- At 6:30 a.m., you awake for a shower and a cup of coffee, get a briefing from your specialist, then take over for the day, feeling refreshed from a full night’s sleep.
After 12-16 weeks, baby will likely be sleeping through the night. At that point, you can work with our team to secure nanny services for support throughout the day or simply say goodbye to your Newborn Care Specialist with a full heart, knowing you did what was best for your family during what for many is an overwhelming season.
Postpartum Doulas
Bringing a newborn home comes with joy and major adjustments.
A postpartum doula helps “mother the mother” and nurture the entire family to facilitate a smooth transition into this new phase.
From providing information and support for infant feeding, parent-baby bonding, infant soothing, and basic newborn care to assisting in emotional and physical recovery from birth — they compassionately cater to the unique needs of a new parent.
A postpartum doula can also assist with light home care, sibling care, and can be arranged during the daytime hours or be used in addition to overnight care services.
Sleep Training Consultants
A sleep training consultant coaches you and your baby or older child through fully tailored sleep training solutions so everyone can have a refreshing night’s sleep.
After staying in your home for a few days and nights, your consultant gets to know your family, then designs sleep training solutions to fit your child’s age, personality, and environment. The goal isn’t just for everyone to get more sleep now, but also to set your child up for a lifetime of restful sleep.
Your sleep training consultant will also empower you with tools to maintain a regular sleeping plan during adjustment periods, such as travel, sickness, or teething.

— WE WHOLE-HEARTEDLY GUARANTEE —
Petite Crew professionals check all the boxes.
Our team reviews hundreds of applications per month and selects the best of the best to interview. Upon completion of a successful in-depth interview, our team verifies candidates’ references to ensure they are outstanding.
Our Newborn Care Specialists are:
- Experienced & ready for anything.
- Thoroughly background checked.
- Matched by skill & personality.
- Praised by past employers.
To be considered as a candidate to care for your newborn, our specialists are required to have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience with babies.
Plus, when it comes right down to it, the basics matter. A Newborn Care Specialist won’t enter your home unless he or she is CPR-certified, a legal US citizen, and has a valid driver’s license to respond quickly on the rare chance of an emergency.
We start with an extensive social media review and end with the most thorough background check in the state of California.
Upon hire, each Newborn Care Specialist is fingerprinted, vetted by our private investigation team, and registered with Trustline, California’s comprehensive state-wide background check which accesses the California Department of Justice and the FBI databases.
Your home is an intimate place, and the thought of inviting someone to exist with your family, especially while you sleep, can feel uncomfortable at first.
Our team listens carefully to your concerns and matches a professional who has not only the right skills but also the right demeanor to make your working relationship natural and easy.
References can be faked, and we find that up to 30% are. So, our private investigation team starts by ensuring all candidates’ references are authentic. Then, our placement team only introduces you to those with glowing reviews, often given by families we already know.
